No hubo ningún aspecto negativo.

Charming and clean place with restful staff who worked the night shift. Brilliant location right by the restaurant which offered a wonderful view of the great southend pier, the Adventure Island, and shops bars. Also, central to all local attractions.

I asked for family queen room, it was luxurious and quiet. Had such facilities, like swan shaped towels, a dining area and a coffee table.
The location was not good, it's a pitty.

Security in hotel was well above what you normally get in most hotels. The family room we were in was of a very high standard, clean and tidy. Views over the beachfront / fair, were very good. Central, I.E. shops and (when weather in uk good enough )beach. Their did seem to be plenty to do nearby. Overall I would rate this hotel as a 3 *.
The area where I thought needs improvement was at breakfast.. When we came down for breakfast, we had to ask a couple of times for items in the buffet / breakfast to be re-filled. Bread for toast for example. ALthough staff were walking round, but did not seem to be paying to much attention. I also thought that tables were not being cleared quick enough when people had finished. tables being left dirty for 10 min + . After this it's personal preference. We asked for extra pillows, which were delivered quickly to room, A slight problem with the window, where the maintenance man came round and sorted straight away. Apparently, a regular job for him, where people are unsure of the windows. We did not eat a main meal in hotel, so cannot comment.

The location is excellent for a holiday by the sea.
I paid extra for breakfast and found that it was rather disappointing. The food was mainly cold, the buffet was not replenished quickly enough and on the Monday morning the choice was rather limited.I could easily have walked 5 minutes round the corner and obtained a full English for £5.There is also no concession for the local car park during the day which adds at least £20 a day to your expenditure.

This place is a top-notch hotel with delicious food and super friendly staff. the location couldn't be better, just a stone's throw away from the beach 🏖️. Plus, it's conveniently close to a train station and near a great shopping area.
